"You who want peace can find it only by complete forgiveness." Helen Schucman,
It is a drafty Friday morning. The 80°F temperature is not too warm and the sky is clear without cloud or jet trail. Birds are twittering and the wind is insistent on the cheek. It moves the treetops so that they mimic a field of wheat not yet ripe. The breeze fans the face and blows what's left of my hair. Puck guards alone this morning and turns his back to the gusts but keeps the windblown look. Birdsong – mostly from the north – provides a soundtrack, cheerful, good morning tunes. I watch the shadows change their long thin shapes into short sticks of dark against the brightness of the rising sun. I take a long sip of decaf, fixed and fancy, and a long deep breath. Puck runs to the gate to bark greetings to Rigby – the dog across the street and to a jogger passing by. I linger enjoying the coolness, this clarity while the sun and heat are still young. Yet, here I am with the smell of fresh coffee tickling my nose and thoughts of you tickling my mind. Another gorgeous morning.
May hourly joys be still upon you, ePistliers. ~~The Tempest
