When fascism comes to the United States it will be wrapped in the American Flag and will claim to be 100% Americanism. --Sinclair Lewis

It is a cloudy Friday morning. The sky is covered in large clumps of fluffy clouds that crowd out all visibility of the sky above. The clumps are gray on the bottoms where we see them but here and there is a gap between the clumps that shows a tiny piece of blue and sunlight whitens the clouds around it. The temperature is above freezing but the wind is strong enough to chill the skin if you open your window at the bank drive through. Inside it's warm and cozy. Puck is asleep on one of his pillows. Veronica ran up and down the hall frantically a couple of times but now has disappeared upstairs. As I feel better and better all the time, my house gets clearer, at least cleaner than it has been for a while and that makes me feel like I am almost back to normal. (Oops, a hidden reference to my hip surgery that I promised not to do. Sorry!). I have even begun to think of planting flowers in the yard. Spring is bound to get here sooner or later; you can't really trust that groundhog. So I plan to have a great weekend and I hope the same for you.

Hope your weekend is sweet and covered in chocolate, Lemon-Ups.
